First colour test

Using an old Dark Eldar model I had laying around, I've been trying out some colour schemes. I'm actually quite satisfied with the one below. It adheres to my paint-an-army-principles; it's fast, real easy to paint, can look quite striking on the battlefield (especially the yellowish hair) and can be made a lot more advanced if I feel like it. But it also has room for improvements, for example, the model could really do with some extreme highlighting. What's your thoughts?




















Now, since I don't know how the new models will look, I can't really decide to use this scheme yet. For one, if the new models don't have any kind of plumes on their helmets, they might end up too one-coloured and boring in this scheme (note to self, paint another one without a plume to see how it looks). On the other hand, they could be completely covered in intricate details that require a much grander colour scheme to look good on the table. To quote Scorponoks headmaster Lord Zarak: "We shall see Galvatron, we shall see..."
